Acne patient care efficacy same whether online or in person

A new study finds that patients with acne who had online follow-up visits with their dermatologist had the same outcomes as patients who had in-office visits.

121 patients were included in this study.  The comparison was whether or not a follow-up visit to the brick and mortar building was better than an online check up.  Every six weeks or so, patients would send photos of their mouth pimples to their dermatologist.  The doctor would view the pictures and send an email back with recommendations and follow-up steps.  The control group did the opposite: driving in like normal to see their dermatologist.

It turns out you can be just as effective in fighting your mouth acne if you do it online as opposed to offline.  Welcome to the digital age!
